L’Occitane to drive growth and increase market share in the UK

The saying goes ‘If you can’t beat them, join them!’ and this is exactly what L’Occitane is doing!

The French beauty company has launched ‘Ship From Store’ Same Day Delivery Across The UK by going into a partnership with On The Dot for faster deliveries than Amazon.

According to PwC Global Consumer Insights Survey2018, their research has shown that 40%of online shoppers say they would pay an extra charge for same day delivery. With this in mind L’Occitane has launched same day delivery in London as a trial before rolling out across the whole of the UK.

Currently, L’Occitane customers in London can select a two-hour delivery window of their choice that day or the next day, between 11am and 6pm, seven days per week.

On The Dot, whose technology integrates directly with L’Occitane’s website means customers can opt-in at the online check out or even via an in-store portal accessible on a tablet. Customers will receive ‘in-flight’ delivery notifications to ensure they are kept up to date throughout the process.

“This new service is part of L’Occitane’s existing commitment to providing best in-class customer experiences with services such as online advice via live chat channels, access to peer reviews on product pages, as well as complimentary samples and gift wrapping,” said Isabelle Regis, Marketing and Digital Director of L’Occitane UK.
