This new luxurious Eau de Parfum, which belongs to the oriental-woody-spicy family, was created by Perfumer, Aliénor Massenet, who built a complex olfactory score around the extraordinary Noir Prunol base, created in 1876 by the Maison de Laire for luxury perfumery. A clever play of contrasts is created upon these sugary, liqueur-like notes, wrapped in the velvet mantle of black orchid and warmed by the aroma of Madagascan spices.
Sweet, woody cinnamon blends with fresh, luminous bergamot. The inebriating scent of jasmine melts into the green notes of violet leaves whilst the eternal duality of sweet vanilla and bitter tobacco arrive with an unmistakable hint of oriental patchouli.
Scent of Gold’s exquisite perfume is presented in a gold bottle inspired by a gold bar. The frosted glass, in the warmest shade of gold, has bands running along the sides of the bottle. Its cap is the colour of rose gold to complement the lettering and famous Trussardi Greyhound centred logo.
Scent of Gold is available exclusively at Harvey Nichols from 15th April 2018 and is priced at £79.00 for 100ml EdP.
