Holland and Barrett will no longer sell wet wipes in its stores. This decision has been welcomed by natural and organic beauty company, Natura Siberica, which sells its range in Sainsbury’s, Holland and Barrett, Love Lula and independent health store retailers.
Jessica Smith, Natura Siberica UK Brand Manager, said: “We welcome the announcement and think it can only be good for the planet.
“Part of our philosophy is to treasure what nature gives us, which is why we make sure all our wild—harvested Siberian herbs and plants are sustainably sourced and we only use natural ingredients which cannot harm the environment.
“And there are plenty of alternatives, in fact our Northern Detox Soap (£12/120ml), which is perfect for removing makeup and cleansing your face, comes with its own reusable pad, which is much better for the planet.
“It’s part of our commitment to work in harmony with the planet, to use fully recyclable materials in our packaging, to ensure our ingredients come from sustainable organic farms and to support local indigenous tribes in Siberia through our work.”
