Clé de Peau Beauté, the Shiseido Group’s premier luxury brand, has launched a multi-year generous commitment that honours inspirational women from around the world whose advocacy for women and girl’s education has led to positive long term impact on lives. The program will select an Award Recipient annually to receive a grant donated to a charity of her choice, in support of educational initiatives. Through this venture, Clé de Peau Beauté will search to empower women and young girls through the gift of knowledge and learning, and make a real difference by igniting radiance within the world.
In its first year, the Power of Radiance programme will celebrate its first annual award recipient, Muzoon Almellehan, the first person with refugee status to be a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Global Ambassador, Felicity Jones, and programme contributors, Cindi Leive, Naomi Kawase, and Belinda Lee, lent their talents to share the programme’s mission and to inspire others to support education around the world and in their communities, making education for girls a right, and not a privilege.

“Education is the most potent equaliser of opportunity,” pointed out Muzoon Almellehan, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. “And for nations, investing in quality education for children and young people creates the foundation for more peaceful and prosperous families, communities and economies. I will never stop speaking out for those whose voices have been silenced for too long, until every child is in school and learning.”
Clé de Peau Beauté, founded in 1982, means the key to skin’s beauty and its philosophy is to unlock the power of a woman’s radiance by harnessing makeup technologies and advanced skincare from around the world.
Clé de Peau Beauté is available in 13 countries worldwide and will be launching in the UK in September 2019 exclusive to Harrods.
