On Monday 5th June, the Spa Team at Seaham Hall in County Durham will be celebrating the launch of Cancer Touch Therapy into their award-winning Spa.
To mark the occasion, they are opening their doors to 20 people who have gone through cancer and who would like to experience total relaxation in a safe environment with a gentle, Touch Therapy spa treatment.
“I’m really delighted with the training we have received from the Made For Life team,” says Spa Manager, Davina Hassell. “We feel confident that we are now able to open our Spa doors to all our guests and have already been overwhelmed by the response from some people who are going through cancer, who have previously been turned away from other spas,” adds Davina. “Here at Seaham Hall we would very much like to spread the word to others who could benefit from these new treatments.”
“This launch, which is open to people going through cancer treatment and also to those who are supporting them, marks a significant change in attitude,” said Amanda Barlow, MD of Made for Life Organics and Founder of the Made For Life Foundation, which supports those going through cancer. She adds: “We have been treating people with cancer to our gentle, nurturing spa protocols for well over a decade, using our 100% organic skincare products, and we are delighted to be able to help more people in this way.”
Seaham Hall is an immaculately restored Georgian Country House with interiors that fuse a modern eclecticism with a classical sensibility. The award-winning Serenity Spa includes a swimming pool, outdoor hot tubs, a fitness suite and an aerobics studio.
