Panasonic scores with style


Panasonic is delighted to announce the signing of football legend Rio Ferdinand as the new grooming ambassador for its new #PlayWithStyle campaign.

The collaboration developed after a recent study revealed that four out of five men nationwide claimed that looking great after an important event helped to improve their confidence. Rio has been recruited to do just this, showing men the importance of playing with style, both on and off the pitch.

Compelling Rio #PlayWithStyle videos will form the hero content for the exciting new male grooming YouTube channel with the first, ‘The Beautiful Game’, featuring Rio kitting up with others in stylish suits and proceeding to play with style on a football pitch, being launched today.  In addition, Rio Ferdinand will also be promoting #PlayWithStyle content on his personal Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages, reaching almost 20 million followers.

Ferdinand says: ‘Style has always been important to me and I’ve been known to experiment with clothing, hair and beard styles over the years. Throughout the year, the channel will also feature a range of lifestyle content and tutorials from influencers to showcase grooming tips and tricks, both in the home and on the go.
