New company aim to ‘Save the High Street’

WeDisrupt is a new performance marketing agency based at The Shed, in Manchester city centre, set up by Digital Growth experts, Tanya Hemphill and James Gregson. The company targets clients in the retail sector to help them track, better understand, and effectively use key metrics to drive performance. It also aims to drive footfall to stores and keeping customers in store for longer using data, technology and communications strategies to create amazing customer experiences.

Tanya Hemphill, co-Founder and Investor, said: “Everyone is talking about how e-commerce is killing the high street yet 85% of retail spend is still via bricks and mortar. Recent statistics show that in 2017, 47% more large retailers were in financial distress compared with 2016. The need for large retailers to really understand their customers and become more relevant is reaching tipping point,” she added, “which is why we feel that a retail-focused approach to generating relevant customer experiences online and offline via data analytics is a service that’s needed now more than ever.
