Calvin Klein Fragrances, a division of Coty, has revealed the new worldwide advertising campaign for CK One by Calvin Klein.

The campaign, connecting fragrance and fashion, features an international cast of models and was directed by Zal Batmanglij and shot by Photographer, Willy Vanderperre. The campaign offers a modern voice to CK One and celebrates a provocative longing for unity and self-expression, in a time where communication is digital and conversations are global.

In his cinematic advertisement, Batmanglij allows viewers to follow the cast’s individual journeys accompanied by voicemail messages of longing for connection, which ends with the group meeting on a NYC rooftop. Whereas the print campaign, photographed by Vanderperre, carries the theme over to still imagery by capturing the CK One cast on a rooftop overlooking the iconic New York City skyline.

“When CK One originally launched in 1994, it helped redefine the boundaries of the modern fragrance because it blurred societal, gender boundaries and offered a freedom from convention and the status quo, a breaking of rules,” said Simona Cattaneo, Chief Marketing Officer, Coty Luxury. “The reinvention and renewal of this milestone continues to define contemporary times.”

CK One combines man and woman with one provocative scent due to its refreshing combination of citrus, green, and woody accords. The fragrance opens with top notes of pineapple, mandarin, bergamot, lemon, cardamom, papaya, as well as green accords. Its heart is fused together with notes of nutmeg, violet, orris, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, with a warm and seductive base comprising sandalwood, amber, musk, cedar, and oakmoss.
