CEW is to welcome Dr. Chris Flower and Dr. Emma Meredith from the CTPA to its next Mentoring Event, taking place on Tuesday 10th July, where both will share their insights on the implications of Brexit.
CTPA, the UK trade association representing the cosmetic, toiletry and perfumery industry, is working with all UK Government departments and key stakeholders at UK and EU level as the voice of the British cosmetics industry to promote our highly regulated sector. They have been providing contingency planning advice to businesses to prepare for the UK exiting the EU – companies need to look at their labelling, responsible person address and the complexity of their supply chains.
In addition, the environmental issue of plastics is now in everybody’s minds and this will undoubtedly impact the cosmetics industry over and above the use of plastic microbeads.
CTPA is pleased to support CEW in promoting the importance of the British cosmetics industry to the UK economy. In the challenges ahead, the cosmetics industry needs to show that it is a responsible and innovative industry that enhances confidence and well-being in society.
To attend this ‘Members Only’ event, tickets are priced at £39 (+VAT) and are available by online booking only at www.cewuk.co.uk
